After giving it more thought, I've concluded that I shouldn't discuss my finances here.
Are there any get-rich-quick offers on the internet that aren't schemes? I've never trusted those offers. Internet articles, pointing out that they're schemes, can easily be found by searching with a search engine. I believe the work-at-home offers are comparably dishonest. I never trust those ads in the local papers. I keep wondering how those schemers get away with it. Actually, if they use the U. S. Postal service for their scheme operation, they come under what I think is called "mail fraud." Decades ago, I contacted such a schemer who was using the U. S. Postal service. Afterwards I discovered that the schemer did get cited under that provision. That's another example of crime not paying. That schemer was in Texas, and I was in California. Not only did it use the postal system, it was interstate.
