Here they are, the photos from my Memorial Day, 2004, weekend outing to Death Valley National Monument. Click the thumbnails, below, to display the pictures full size. I hope to make more trips to Death Valley, and hopefully I'd snap a glut of pictures. I believe Death Valley is a more interesting place than people realize. These photos don't, by any means, represent all there is to see in Death Valley, but they give glimpses of the place you may not have experienced before. Just be glad you've now seen this much of Death Valley's unique scenery. The 2002 photos are on a different page, on this site.

There are 45 photos from this Death Valley trip included here. Actually, they are all the pictures that I took during that outing. The camera I have now holds far more pictures than the camera I used for this outing, so the next round I shoot ought to comprise quite a big collection. The digital age makes it easy and cheap to capture a wealth of pictures. I plan to put that potential to good use, if I could ever afford to take more vacations.
